Mickey Macius – QB 6-3, 210 4.8 – Arlington Heights (St. Viator)

Mickey is one of the best 2013 quarterbacks I’ve seen on film. He doesn’t get the press that others receive but he’s deserving. Mickey comes from Jeff Christensen’s “Throw it Deep” quarterback stable so you can see he’s been coached well.

I see a tough-minded, intelligent quarterback with terrific intangibles. Plays with a strong drive and determination. Mickey gets through his progressions and delivers the ball quickly and with good timing.

Moves well outside the pocket and can hit targets moving left or right. Macius has a gamer mentality and shows a lot of grit and moxie. Throws the football with zip and can also show a deft touch.

Summary- - I look into my crystal ball and although Macius is far from the finished product, I see a BCS level quarterback that has the potential to be successful.
