OL Blake King - In the film room

Minooka offensive lineman Blake King should receive plenty of attention this spring from college coaches. The 2013 crop of OL's in the Land of Lincoln looks solid and King has all the tools to play D-1 football.

The clay is definitely there and a good OL coach could mold Blake King into something special. Gets in the way and can seal lanes. Functional position blocker that flashes some pop in his hands. Coachable, team player, that works and plays hard. Can work to the 2nd level and fit on linebackers.

Needs to work hard in the off-season to pack on good weight and gain strength. Versatile lineman that can move inside and play guard. A finesse tackle in a zone-blocking scheme. Has shown steady improvement during his junior year. If King wants to play in a BCS conference, he'll need to show he can dominate the line-of-scrimmage during his senior season.
