Simeon HS (Ill.) standout Kendall Moore is planning an official visit to Western Kentucky over the Jan. 25 weekend.

Western Kentucky's recruiting class took a hit over the weekend, when three-star offensive lineman Chris Huhn flipped his commitment from WKU to Marshall.

But the Toppers could have a replacement for Huhn already on the way.

Simeon HS (Ill.) standout Kendall Moore is planning an official visit to Western Kentucky over the Jan. 25 weekend, and has been on the Hilltoppers radar for quite a while.

"I've talked to the new offensive line coach (Mike Summers) there," the three-star said. "He's cool, we've talked about what he expects from lineman, stuff like that."

Moore has already taken visits to New Mexico and Western Michigan, and said he could be taking an official to Purdue over the Feb. 1 weekend.

The 6-foot-5, 250 pound offensive tackle has had interest from several BCS-level programs during his recruitment, including Illinois, Indiana and West Virginia, among others.

He has a friendship formed with another lineman from Chicago, defensive end Devante Lee, who's already committed to WKU.

"We both just want to end up at schools where we'll be comfortable," Moore said. "Whichever schools fit us best."

The No. 63 ranked tackle in the Class of 2013, Moore said he'll probably commit before National Signing Day (on Feb. 6), but won't actually go public with his commitment until Signing Day.

Should Moore eventually commit to WKU, he would join Kyle Jones, Justin Martinez, and junior college signee Johnny Delaney as new additions to the Toppers offensive line.
