Neuqua Valley (Ill.) junior wide receiver Mike Dudek got some pretty big news this week.
"I just got my first offer from the University of North Dakota," Dudek said. "I am so exited, things are getting very active with recruiting."
Dudek found out about his offer Friday.
"The coaches from North Dakota called my coach and told me to give them a call," Dudek said. "So I did and talked to the receiver coach, then they offered me a scholarship."
The speedy receiver won't soon forget the feeling of his first offer.
"I can't even describe the feeling," Dudek said. "I'm speechless, it is an awesome feeling."
Even though it's early for the junior, there are several things he likes about the program.
"I just looked a little around their website," Dudek said. "I talked to the coach and I love all the facilities and the dome is definitely a plus for a receiver."
And as for Dudek's overall recruitment?
Each of which he is hearing from quite often.
"I would say that most schools are talking to me about evenly," Dudek said. "But I guess I hear from Michigan State, Maryland and Illinois the most."
