Rock Island’s Chasson Randle was named first team Western Big 6 last year as a freshman. Randle received that award again this year. Read here for more on Randle.

Chasson Randle, Class of 2011, is a hot commodity for many colleges these days. He’s a 6’2” guard that has unlimited potential and seems to be getting better all the time.

Randle, along with United Township’s Sr. Kannon Burrage and Rock Island Alleman’s Jr. Keelan Prince, were unanimous first team selections this year. Burrage led the league with an average of 23.7 ppg. Prince finished at 18.5 points, while Randle is currently sitting at 18.2 ppg.

Wednesday night against Dunlap, the Northwestern Wildcats were in attendance. During the Regional Championship game (70-54) Friday night against the Geneseo Maple Leafs Randle scored a game high 25 points.

Randle has a list of suitors and they keep coming in. Purdue is the latest school to offer Randle and joins Illinois, Iowa State, Iowa and Wisconsin.

Sources close to Randle and the Rock Island program tell us Randle will not commit anytime soon.
